Gaelscoil Mhic Amhlaigh -Handing over the keys!

 

The Department of Education announced a new build for Gaelscoil Mhic Amhlaigh early 2017.This announcement was certainly welcomed by local families attending the Gaelscoil, Cnoc Na Cathrach, Co. Galway. The project is a huge boost to the community providing a new permanent home to this school. Stewart Construction, working alongside Coady Architects, have now built the school on time and on budget.The handover officially took place on Friday December 15th. The project comprises of 24 classrooms with a capacity for 600 pupils. The new school includes special education classrooms, as well as 36 parking spaces. It heightens promotion and survival of the Irish language and will provide children with a great education and facilities for generations to come.
