First Sod turning Ceremony at Irish Life’s Customer Centre, Dundalk, Co. Louth

 

The sod has officially been turned for the Irish Life Customer Centre in Finnabair Business Park, Dundalk Co. Louth.  The 45,000 sq ft. development based on 1.6 hectares will be highly sustainable and carry an International LEED Gold Environment rating. The contemporary office building will be open plan across three floors, including car spaces and bicycle parking. Employees will have access to a relaxation area and an in- house gym, enabling employees to balance health, wellness and work life. Present at the sod turning ceremony were Irish Life and Stewart Construction employees, members of Dundalk Chamber of Commerce, Louth County Council, Dundalk IT. David Harney, Chief Executive of Irish Life, said; “We are delighted to be here in Dundalk for the start of this construction phase, which reinforces our continued commitment to the local area and our employees based in Dundalk.” 

The new office is due to open in the second half of 2019.
