STEAM Workshop Week two was held in the Good Shepard School in Dundrum, Dublin 14. Jerry and the kids focused on the engineering that goes into manufacturing food. They designed a sweet factory using isometric dotted paper, they then used these designs to inspire their actual sweet factories. They worked in groups to make sweet factories where a product (marble) could get from one end to the other. The children came to many obstacles but managed to overcome these by thinking outside the box like an engineer. Excited to see what Week 3 will cover?Find out more on the news section: www.stewart.ie.
