This project involves deep retrofit works of the existing Government Office to improve the buildings energy efficiency by a minimum of 50% (targeted 60% improvement in energy efficiency and a BER A3 rating), as part of the Government’s commitment to sustainability.

This Project is managed by the Office of Public Works, it is funded by the Irish Government and part-financed by the European Union under the EU National Recovery and Resilience Plan (NRRP)

We are very pleased to announce the commencement of construction works for a new, state-of-the-art hotel for Aloft By Marriott, located at the site of the former Tonery’s Bar in Bohermore, Galway.

The project, developed for JMK Group, represents a significant investment in the city’s hospitality infrastructure. The development will transform the iconic 144 Bohermore address into a modern 163-bedroom hotel, designed to meet the growing demand for high-quality leisure and corporate accommodation in the heart of Galway City.

This seven storey tourism accommodation project, for our client Firethorn, will consist of 138 bedrooms featuring a mix of double, triple and quadruple bunk dormitory rooms, alongside private double rooms. Modern communal social spaces across the ground floor and basement will be open to the public as well as guests, including a bar, café and lounge.
